Play the same team in every game like we have been. I think we'd remember an FA Cup final appearance more than finishing 7th

Difficult to break down, great team cohesion, belief and confidence in this team, don't be so negative choosing one over the other. These qualities can bring success through an entire season so don't accept either, both are realistically achievable and should be expected from each and every BCFC supporter. The dispatching of Everton who have been very impressive up until BCFC came along is a genuine marker that the Blues should fear nothing that gets in their way. Its all about the mentality AM is instilling in this unit, a real grit and determination not to be turned over whilst playing down the we're unbeatable and favourites rubbish, obviously working in BCFC's favour, bring both top 6/7 and cup final on.

FA Cup win every time.

IF you offered me staying up and the FA Cup at the start of the season id have laughed and snatched it with both hands.

We're more or less safe... so lets have the FA Cup now

The FA Cup. That's something that we'd never forget. Having said that, I'm wary of the fact that Portsmouth won it and then thought they were big time and overspent.

FA Cup, every time.

In fact, even if it meant relegation I'd find it difficult not to take winning the trophy. The prestige attached to winning it can never be taken away.

Now that's just plain stupid.

Eck isnt stupid... hes proved that this window where he could oh so easily have been taken for a mug and overspent on players... but he came out instead, and said how he feels he has a right as part of his job to make sure the club is secure on and off the pitch.

Just out of interest.

Press on with the league, aim for top 6/7 for europe

or

FA cup final

with our current form, so many big boys out, we have never in my memory been in a position to do well in the cup like we are now.

This is a typical "losers - question".

A question posed by the average Brummie, numbskulled from being a union driven citizen.

We have f***ing moved on. We have a successful nouveau-capitalist Chinese regime who have not only bought the club but are further backing the club.

If you want silly what-ifs, either-ors, gypsies cursies or just down-trodden unionist views then I suggest you may be better off at Molyneux.

Otherwise - just accept top8 and a good bash at the FA cup...............not just this year but every year thereafter.

Don't be daft.

Aside from the fact it's hypothetical, our trophy cabinet is hardly overflowing and it would be the most prestigious trophy we'd have won. You can bounce back from relegation, you can't erase an FA Cup win. I fail to see how you can't imagine why someone might have that point of view.

FA Cup win brings europe anyway, and it'd be a more memorable and glamorous way of getting in than finishing seventh. Also a great memory/day out and villa fans would have to create a new comeback for whenever we win a game.

Cup Final

Why?

Simple, we would get more exposure from this than our league position and that would be a massive boost for the Chinese revolution.

Yueng would find this would give him such a boost as he sells us to his country

Best way to put it is... what would you rather us be known as (and consider the appeal over in China etc) :

"Birmingham, who finished 10th last season in the Premier League"

"FA Cup Winners(or Finalists) Birmingham City..."

Second option every time... the worlds most famous cup competition, and our club in its final/winning it? Its the stuff dreams are made of really.... it would appeal the world over, and would help popularity surge in China... the team parading the FA Cup around Wembley, with Yeung on the pitch aswell.

*wakes up*

Damn :(

The further we go i the Fa Cup the more exciting it gets especially with a good draw at Derby.

On a personal note i have booked a holiday to Vegas for my 30th Birthday in May, i have carefully not gone during a home/away game, but just checked the date and it will be over the FA Cup final.....

If we get there I'm sure I'll watch it in a bar at 7am in the morning and meet a bunch of Blues fans i probably went to school with or something!
